I enjoy travelling and recording what I have seen in my journeys. My portfolio includes images of various places in Europe, Asia, and the western hemisphere, as well as of U.S. national parks and other scenic areas.
I strive to give the viewer a sense of the location and the features that characterize it. The subjects I try to capture range from the awesome beauty and wonders of God’s creation to cultural features found in the United States and around the world.
I strive to take and receive scenes before me rather than make pictures of them. The world is full of beautiful things that are set before us to enjoy: large panoramic vistas and small insects on flowers, natural features, or man-made constructs.
As a photographer, I try to be conscious of the beauty around me in both spectacular and ordinary things. When I take a picture, I try to capture the subject as it presents itself to me and to give it a perspective that others can enjoy and appreciate.
